In 1998, New Hope Group divided 1/10 of the assets to establish Sichuan
New Hope Agriculture Stock Co., Ltd., which was later
listed in Shenzhen Stock Market. Its total assets grew
from 159 million to 3000 million RMB￥ value in the mid
2003. Currently it possesses the net assets over 1200
million RMB￥ and 40 subsidiaries. Last year, it was
reviewed by the authoritative Chinese Securities Asian
Commerce Institute as the 23rd among the 50 Most
Prospective Listed Corporations in China.
Being listed in
the stock market, Sichuan New Hope Agriculture Stock
Co., Ltd. not only broke the limitation that private
enterprises mainly depended on own accumulations, but
also got away from the complete family management
system and adopted the modern enterprise system.
